Ahlstrom-Munksjö’s net sales in the third quarter of 2019 amounted to €712.9 million ($791.2 million), showing a decrease of 4.3% from €745.2 million ($827 million) in the third quarter of 2018. In constant currency, net sales declined by 6.7% as delivery volumes fell in all business areas except Industrial Solutions. The average selling price was stable. 

In the Filtration and Performance business area, net sales decreased by 5.2% to €159.6 million ($177 million), compared with €168.3 million ($186.8 million) in the comparison period. Lower sales volumes were partially offset by higher selling prices, an improved product mix and a favorable currency effect.
